Responsibility
- setting up new users with all necessary accounts and closing down leavers
- provide speedy and reliable support and troubleshooting for software applications
- allocating, configuring and managing new starters’ and leavers’ equipment and maintaining asset registers
- investigating, diagnosing and resolving endpoint device issues for Mac OS and Windows based machines
- supporting printing and videoconferencing facilities
- working closely with the Information Security team to deliver a secure service for end users and our customers
- responding to and managing 1st line support tickets and queries via our IT service desk logging system, remotely and in person, and keeping users consistently updated
Requirements
- A passion to learn new technologies and processes with great troubleshooting skills
- A love of helping people
- you will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed
- an ability to effectively prioritise and manage a number of open tasks at one time, so good organisational skills are important
- the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- interested in the impact of climate change and how we help quantify it for our customers
- comfortable working in an environment of rapid growth and regular change
- this role is about great ‘customer service’ for our staff, so having good communication skills is a must for this role, with a knack for explaining technical concepts clearly
