paralegal

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • taking instructions from new clients
  • requesting medical records and ensuring the same are received in line with protocol
  • drafting correspondence as and when required
  • chasing clients, experts, third party representatives to ensure timely progression of files
  • sorting and paginating medical records
  • researching various medical negligence topics
  • helping to maintain client files in good order in accordance with quality assurance requirements
  • liaising with clients and providing excellent client care

Requirements

  • you will be a graduate of the LPC
  • have good academics
  • ideally you will have at least 6 months experience in a Clinical Negligence role. Litigation experience is preferable but not essential
  • you will have at least 6 months experience in a Clinical Negligence role. Litigation experience is preferable but not essential
  • passionate about pursuing a legal career
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • A willingness to learn
  • good researching skills
