- comply with integrity and compliance guidelines as well as promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance
- installation and preventative/ corrective maintenance on all plant and equipment
- evaluate plant and equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs as part of a team
- develop knowledge of high-pressure water jetting equipment, plant and vacuumation tanks
- experience of repairs and maintenance of small tools including breakers, generators and whacker plates
- able to work in a clean and safe environment
- able to work on a first-time repair basis
Requirements
- recognised time served apprenticeship in mechanics with experience of plant
- achieved or working towards HNC, City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Mechanical Studies preferred
- driving licence, preferably Class 2 with no more than 3 points
- demonstrates individual and team skills
- strong organisational skills
- strong oral and written communication skills
- driving: 1 year
