Responsibility
- provide on-site installation, commissioning and troubleshooting support for our industrial machinery and equipment range
- perform scheduled maintenance, inspections and repairs according to established guidelines and customer requirements
- diagnose and resolve technical issues, utilizing problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge of the equipment's mechanics and electronics
- collaborate closely with the engineering and product development teams to provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement of products and services
- deliver comprehensive training to clients on equipment operation, maintenance and safety procedures
- effectively manage and document service activities, including service reports, work orders, and inventory management
- maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and support
- proactively identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures to enhance equipment performance and reliability
Requirements
- A background in engineering is essential
- proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, servicing machinery and equipment
- strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyse technical problems systematically
- proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
- willingness to travel extensively and work in various locations as required
- some days/weeks will just require delivery/collections from site if no repair or servicing is booked in
- valid driver's license with experience driving LWB vans
