Responsibility
- we are seeking a skilled and experienced Customer Engineer with expertise in splicing and overhead work
- perform splicing of fibre optic cables, including pole installations and cable routing
- as a self-employed professional, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule and work independently
- adhere to industry best practices and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- this role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work autonomously
- plan routes accordingly
- provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with customers
- demonstrate technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of the field
Requirements
- own Van and Tools
- accreditations in First Aid, NRSWA Unit 2, Signing, Lighting, and Guarding, as well as Smart Awards SA001
- desirable accreditations include Working at Heights and Manual Handling of Ladders
- proven experience in splicing and overhead work
- strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
