We are an international, multi award-winning solar maintenance company. We provide high-quality solar maintenance across the UK.We are looking for reliable, hardworking and friendly individuals to work as a Solar Panel Cleaning Operative. All training can be given, if needed. A background in window cleaning and/or working at heights is ideal, but not essential.Your main tasks will include manual and robotic cleaning of solar panels.The following are strict and non-negotiable requirements for the role:Full driving licenceWillingness and circumstances to work away from home, travelling the UK for up to 4 nights per week, every week.Ability or willingness to operate cherry pickersHave a head for heightsHave a keen awareness of health & safetyBe willing to learn new skills in a rapidly developing industryThe role is varied, stimulating, requires manual handling and a degree of fitness.Starting salary is according to current skills. You will also receive an overnight allowance when working away from home.There are no fixed hours for this role due to its nature. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30am. A variable 6:00am - 6:30am start time will be on a Monday, but will also often result in an early finish on a Monday too. Some additional travel may, but not always, be required outside of these hours. Overtime on weekends is virtually always available.We operate a bonus and commission scheme, more detail of which will be discussed during the job interview phase.The Company also carries out work overseas in the USA and Northern Europe from time to time. The successful candidate will not need previous experience in solar, but it is preferred. All training can be given, if needed. A background in window cleaning, roofing or construction is ideal, but not essential.Your main tasks will include repairs and replacement of solar equipment, solar panel cleaning (both manual and robotic), fitting of bird proofing and deterrents and assisting our electrical teams with labour, as needed.The following are strict and non-negotiable requirements for the role:Full driving licenceWillingness and circumstances to work away from home, travelling the UK for up to 4 nights per week, every week.Ability or willingness to operate cherry pickersHave a head for heightsHave a keen awareness of health & safetyBe willing to learn new skills in a rapidly developing industryThe role is varied, stimulating, requires manual handling and a degree of fitness.Starting salary is according to current skills.
