Responsibility

  • claxton are currently looking to hire a Trainee Maintenance Technician on full time permanent basis
  • we combine experienced Project Engineering and fast track Design and R&D capability with huge inventory of rapid call off tooling, to deliver to our clients
  • across a vast array of drilling riser systems, well abandonment equipment and structures, Claxton delivers pragmatic, safe reliable solutions to the operating challenges faced by our clients
  • based at their facility in Great Yarmouth, the Trainee is to assist with ongoing maintenance & inspection work to Claxton & client owned equipment, as instructed by the maintenance supervisor
  • responsible for housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment at all times
  • work with warehouse dept when equipment is returned from offshore to visually inspect assets for any immediate damage

Requirements

  • good written & verbal skills, enthusiastic approach with determination to succeed computer literate- Microsoft 365 packages
  • self-motivated, able to work independently & in a team, punctual & high level of attendance
  • able to travel to and from place of work therefore a clean driving license would be desirable
