Responsibility
- supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children
- provide basic care, including feeding, nappy changing, and assisting with toilet training
- plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- create a positive and nurturing environment for children to thrive
- communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress
- maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery
- we are working on behalf of an Ofsted rated Outstanding Nursery based in Westbury-on-Trym who are are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis
Requirements
- level 3 qualification in childcare or above
- ideally have some experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being
- ability to work as part of a team
- patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- babysitting, Nursery work, Nannying, School Holiday Clubs, Playworker, LSA work, Teaching Assisting experience etc
- be available for least work at least 1 full day a week
- or hold a level 2/ 3 childcare qualification
