Responsibility

  • we are looking to appoint 2 Stonemasons/ Bricklayers on a self-employed or full time on the books basis
  • minimum requirement of 5 year’s experience in Fixer Stonemasonry, ideally with experience in restoration & conservation and banker masonry
  • has a good client manner, own transport, strong work ethic & communicates well within a team
  • an efficient approach to work, attention to detail & portfolio of previous work is required
  • you must have means of travelling to our yard at adwick le street, valid driving license and a valid CSCS card
  • hourly rate will depend entirely on the candidates ability and aptitude, and all new hires are subject to a probationary period
  • has knowledge & understanding of lime mortars, an excellent understanding of tools and usage, as well as the ability to read technical plans & produce finished products to a high degree of accuracy
