- part-time
Responsibility
- thorough cleaning of sanitary fittings, wash hand basins, sinks etc
- cleaning of all interior aspects of the building. This includes vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture and fittings etc
- anyone attending the practice , including staff are expected to wear facemask
- undertake any other training as deemed necessary to role
- ensuring rooms that have been used are left in a clean and tidy condition, removing used crockery if left, turning off lights and closing windows
- implement good working practice and develop a continuous quality improvement system
- weekly two-minute flush of showers, including accurate record keeping. Emptying and cleaning of internal waste bins and transfer of waste to appropriate external waste bins
- replenishing disposable items, e.g., hand towels, toilet rolls, soap etc
Requirements
- ability to maintain high standards of cleaning
- ability to operate appropriate machinery
- good communication skills
- experience of building cleaning
- experience of working in a similar environment and use of cleaning equipment
- ability to work on own initiative
- use of cleaning equipment
- good literacy and numeracy skills
