Responsibility

  • you will be expected to work shifts over a 24-hour period including sleep nights
  • responsible for supporting our residents to become self-reliant and to develop their skills towards independent living
  • support residents to enable them to live a fulfilled and independent life in the community
  • support Worker role for Citta Care Ltd in Canterbury. This is a hands-on support role where you will lead from the front
  • strike a good rapport with our residents, in order to support them to reach their full potential and achieve outcomes
  • the post is full of part time rostered over seven days on a permanent contract with a salary from £10.51 - £12.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
  • support our residents to appointments, travelling, socialising, completing forms and accessing community-based activities
  • you will be required to assist in the completion of daily reports, support plans and risk. This list is not exhaustive

Requirements

  • proof of valid MOT, road tax and insurance including business cover
  • and of course, a smile
  • be able to complete the Care Certificate with the view to go on to complete at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care following successful completion of probation
  • hold a full UK driving license with no more than 6 points and to have access to their own vehicle is desired but not essential
  • caring, dynamic, passionate, empathetic, patient and positive people. You will to be resilient, confident, supportive, sensitive and above all, positive towards the needs of our residents
