Responsibility
- mercia Underwriting Solutions are looking for an experienced Senior Underwriterto join our Property/Casualty team in our London office
- the salary on offer is negotiable dependent on experience
- process Renewals and any adjustments complying with agreed procedures
- prepare and issue documentation complying with regulatory requirements
- assist in completing bordereau spreadsheet reports
- you will be responsible for underwriting and expansion of a profitable account in full accord with binding authorities including agreed target loss ratio’s, whilst maintaining good relationships with our Insurers, Brokers and Retail Customers
- accurately record, monitor, and follow up quotes & renewal data
- working full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will be expected to be in our London office 3 days per week, with the option to work remotely the other 2 days
