Responsibility

  • providing support and assistance to the 1st and 2nd line support team
  • providing assistance to the IT projects manager and assist on project delivery
  • provide pre & post implementation 3rd line technical support for any onsite issues
  • carry out site surveys and create technical documentation
  • take the lead on various ongoing project-related work as required
  • carry out account management with our key contacts at customer sites
  • the role will typically be split between providing 3rd line support for 2/3 days per week and project work for the rest of the week

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • windows Server 2012 – 2022
  • have some familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
  • experience with implementing Azure Virtual Desktop
  • networking principles, DHCP/DNS, Switch Configuration
  • experience with Customer account management
  • virtual server technologies mainly Microsoft Hyper-V
  • microsoft AZ-104 Azure Administrator
  • network device configuration, e.g., Patching, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls, Web Filters, Routers, and Wireless technologies
