- bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- equivalent professional experience in a relevant managerial role will also be considered
- proven experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and internal team coordination
- good understanding of UK food safety, storage, and handling standards
- ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy and efficiency
- manage and oversee the procurement, delivery, and storage of all food, beverage, and non-food supplies required for restaurant operations
- negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards
- plan and maintain inventory systems, ensuring stock availability while minimising waste and loss
- coordinate delivery schedules and logistics to support the daily operation of the restaurant
- maintain and update supplier and purchase records, ensuring traceability and accountability
- ensure compliance with UK food safety, hygiene, and environmental health standards in all storage and logistics processes
- conduct regular audits of stock levels and supplier performance, preparing management reports as required
- implement efficient stock rotation and FIFO practices
