Responsibility

  • we are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team in a fast food setting
  • wash dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils using industrial washing machines or by hand
  • ensure that all kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitised
  • assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients
  • help with the receipt and storage of deliveries
  • dispose of kitchen waste and recycling in an appropriate manner
  • as a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage
  • flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • previous experience as a kitchen porter or in a similar role in a fast food setting is desirable but not essential
