Responsibility

  • we are a private children's nursery, registered for 59 children and based in Morningside, Edinburgh
  • we are currently recruiting a part time nursery cook
  • the hours of work are 9.30am-2.30pm, Monday-Friday
  • we are open all year round except for Christmas and New Year when we are closed
  • you will be entitled to 4 weeks annual leave plus statutory holidays which must be taken during the festive season closure
  • be able to cook a daily, nutritious lunch and prepare morning and afternoon snacks
  • have knowledge, or be prepared to gain knowledge, of the early years nutritional guidance 'Setting the Table'
  • the successful candidate should have experience of cooking for a large number of children/adults and be able to accommodate food allergies in the daily meal planning
