Working hours

Responsibility
- managing all day to day accounting operations - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking, Month end Payroll, VAT reporting & General Ledger
- ensuring all transactions are recorded, filed and reported properly
- reporting monthly management accounts for each of the group’s subsidiaries and comparing to budget and forecast with commentary on any variances
- making sure reporting meets compliant standards with statutory law and financial regulations
- reviewing costs, suggesting, and implementing cost savings
- streamlining and improving all operations and accounting systems
- coordinating the management of cash flow alongside the Financial Accountant
- supervising and managing financial department staff, namely the Financial Accountant and Purchase Ledger Assistant
Requirements
- ACA/ ACCA/CIMA qualified
- sage50 experience
- strong personal and communication skills alongside confident leadership and management skills
- lots of energy and self-motivation for working from home
- multitasking skills
- good understanding of business and financial issue
- the ability to work to tight deadlines
