Responsibility
- this role requires you to follow company procedures and policies meticulously, ensuring the highest standards of service
- as a Delivery Driver for Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, you will play a key role in ensuring our products reach our customers in perfect condition
- your responsibilities will include picking orders directly from our freezers, loading your vehicle, and making timely deliveries to our diverse customer base across the North West
- order Picking and Loading: Accurately pick ice cream orders from our freezers and load them into your delivery vehicle
- physical Demands: Be prepared for some heavy lifting and periods working in freezer environments
- flexibility: Adapt to varying workloads throughout the year, including taking on non-delivery tasks during off-peak times
- multi-Drop Deliveries: Execute multiple deliveries each day, ensuring timely and efficient service. Knowledge of the North West, particularly Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, and surrounding areas, is highly beneficial
Requirements
- previous experience driving a large van, preferably with multi-drop delivery knowledge
- familiarity with the North West region, including Manchester, Liverpool, and Chester
- excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships
- strong attention to detail, punctuality, and a self-motivated work ethic
- willingness to work in cold environments and adapt to the needs of the business
