Requirements

  • requires recognised pipefitting qualification
  • compEx training and qualification preferred
  • pipefitting: 1 year

Responsibility

  • carry out pipefitting, steelwork fabrication/repair & welding activities , planned and reactive, at either site, as directed, to ensure facilities are maintained in compliance with company processes and EH&S, design and maintenance standards
  • provide technical & troubleshooting support to company personnel in mechanical matters, including breakdowns
  • assist with the control and coordination of spare parts and the optimisation of stock levels associated with pipefitting, welding & LOLER
  • the position expedites pipefitting and welding activities safely and efficiently to agreed work plans, safety management systems and best working practices in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and Business Objectives to ensure that the performance and availability of mechanical systems meets the standards required to achieve safety, production and environmental targets for the Middlesbrough and Billingham sites
