Responsibility
support the BID Chief Executive and Operations Manager in the set-up and delivery of BID projects
researching, sourcing and negotiating the best possible financial and contractual offers with our suppliers
researching and presenting opportunities for potential new projects
proactively finding solutions to potential project issues
co-ordinating supplier contracts making timely decisions regarding payments, amendments, cancellations and or additional requirements with the support of the Operations Manager
deal with telephone and email enquiries ensuring a timely and appropriate response
maintain the BID’s bespoke Customer Relationship Management tool. , ensuring data is up to date and relevant. Training will be provided
liaising with other members of the team and suppliers to help promptly address and answer queries from our BID businesses to ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience
Requirements
an excellent knowledge of Cheltenham town centre and its businesses
previous experience in a Coordination, Logistical or Administrative role
A can-do attitude with enthusiasm for Cheltenham and the ability to apply critical thinking to situations which arise
knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software would be advantageous but full training will be provided
enjoy working with people and be able to build strong, effective relationships
well presented, organised, punctual and reliable
ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks
ability to remain calm and polite in all circumstances
