Requirements
- barista experience required – ideally 1 year in a specialty coffee shop
- be able to dial in and maintain consistent shot time
- ability to pour consistent latte art
- able to work quickly, calmly and efficiently during busy periods
- be warm and welcoming and be able to provide a great customer experience for all our guests
- shop opening hours are 8am-3pm every day so the earliest start time is 7am and latest finish time is 4pm
- barista experience: 1 year
- be able to work 9-15 hours/week which would be every Sunday doing an open/close shift with scope to do additional shifts to cover other staff holidays etc
Responsibility
- chantrey Press is a family run specialty coffee shop based in Woodseats on Chesterfield Road. We have been open for almost a year and were recently in the shortlist for 'Best Cafe' in Sheffield at the Exposed Awards
- we are currently recruiting for a part-time Barista to join the team working primarily every Sunday, and potentially some Saturdays and the odd weekday as cover
- we are a small team and this is a chance to join an exciting new business and play a key role in providing great coffee and welcoming customer service to the people of Woodseats
- we are looking for a barista with at least 12 months experience with specialty coffee and preferably somebody who has keyholder experience
