Responsibility

  • working closely with the Managing Director on all A&R matters including recording budgets
  • fixing recording dates in liaison with the artists
  • booking venues, heating, lighting, pianos, harpsichords
  • liaising and engaging artists, producers, engineers, piano and harpsichord technicians
  • booking accommodation and arranging travel for the Chandos technical team
  • negotiating hire contracts with music publishers including obtaining music scores for producers & returning to publishers when finished with
  • occasionally producing risk assessments
  • holding and controlling the master Chandos catalogue numbers list
