- safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- work as part of a two-person crew, operating a Luton van to deliver goods
- assist in loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting techniques
- maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues
- safely load and unload items at delivery points
- assist in navigating routes and handling deliveries in a timely manner
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns
- collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- proven experience as a delivery driver or drivers mate
- strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers
- ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- must wear safety shoes and a high-visibility jacket
- familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics
- no prior experience is necessary as full training is provided
- commercial driving experience is a plus
