  • assist in the removal and strip-out of existing kitchen units and associated fixtures and fittings
  • carry out general labouring duties including clearing waste, lifting and shifting materials, and maintaining a tidy work area
  • support the team on site as required
  • represent the company professionally on site, especially when working in occupied properties
  • we are based in Pontefract and work closely with local authorities, insurance reinstatement companies and private customers and we carry out large scale domestic refurbishments across Yorkshire
  • we are currently delivering a kitchen replacement scheme for a large local housing association, and we’re currently seeking a reliable and hard-working General Labourer to join our team
  • this role will primarily involve the removal and demolition of kitchens in occupied and void residential properties, as part of a planned replacement programme

Requirements

  • previous experience in a construction environment
  • ability to carry out physically demanding tasks
  • CSCS card
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic
  • A full UK driving license

Responsibility
