Responsibility
- to provide effective management of nursing care in the home
- ensure that assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care takes place in line with the agreed process
- provide leadership and co-ordination of the Care Teams, assisting in the development, monitoring and evaluation of nursing care standards
- ensure the creation and maintenance of a safe and homely environment
- participating fully in the care process, leading from the front by practice and example
- monitor service provision and report deficiencies
- the ongoing development of social, recreational and occupational opportunities for residents
- ensuring that reports on clients, whether in writing or given verbally, are completed according to company policy or statutory requirements
