- to assist in preparing , cooking and serving meals to a high quality
- we are looking for an experienced second chef to join our team, someone who wants to make a difference to peoples lives and is committed to the highest standards. Reportable to head chef
- to get to know residents and their likes and dislikes and enjoy their nutritional needs are met
- to work together as a team, in the kitchen and in serving meals, drinks and snacks to residents
- to ensure compliance with Food safety legislation using the Better business , Safer food diary and internal auditing
- to keep the purchase of ingredients within allocated budgets
- to maintain a balanced diet and varied menus
- to maintain the kitchen equipment
Requirements
- experience of working in a kitchen
- ideally level 2 food safety
- cooking: 1 year
