Requirements

  • experience / knowledge of general mechanical or maintenance operations in an industrial environment
  • competent in use of basic hand, power tools and cleaning machinery
  • good attention to detail
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • working knowledge of MS Office / IT skills
  • ability to work with minimum supervision

Responsibility

  • disassembly, Cleaning and inspection of equipment and associated engine components using a variety of methods and machinery
  • carry out scheduled maintenance on equipment and plant, including all documentation requirements as directed by supervision
  • maintain stock levels of consumable materials as directed by supervision including management of expiry dates and reordering as required
  • assist other departments with general duties and activities as required and directed by supervision and management
