Responsibility
- laboratory
- responsible for day-to-day laboratory maintenance and relevant housekeeping duties
- maintain the stock inventory of general laboratory reagents and consumables
- maintenance of equipment and servicing records
- undertake laboratory work as required and be responsible for drafting SOPs, COSHH as relevant
- receiving of goods and recording
- various other technical administration tasks
- office administration
Requirements
- proven experience working in a diverse and highly matrixed, fast-paced collaborative team environment
- previous laboratory experience would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided
- previous experience of handling chemicals, with associated health and safety controls
- ability to work to strict deadlines and multi-tasking in a safe and efficient manner
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- the ability to prioritise tasks
- high level of interpersonal, and analytical skills
