Responsibility

  • carrying out reviews of Business Plans, providing recommendations against set criteria to determine innovation,, viability and scalability of the business
  • reviewing business finances to ensure they are robust, and carrying out sensitive analysis where needed
  • periodically reviewing business and financial assessments
  • monitoring and reviewing the business against Business Plan projections
  • reviewing and recommending applications from individuals and assessing these to determine suitability based on previous investments
  • assisting in Anti-Money Laundering and due diligence requirements for clients
  • conducting customer visits whilst accurately filing and maintaining data

Requirements

  • previous experience within a credit based role is desirable but not essential
  • proficient level user of Microsoft 365
  • general knowledge of UK Government innovation objectives
  • first rate communication skills, both written and verbal
  • strong understanding of financial management, with an emphasis on risk assessment in a working capital environment
  • competent analytical skills and report production
  • sound attention to detail and organisational capabilities
