Responsibility
- we are looking for a compassionate and caring cook who wants to make a difference to our residents lives

- to supervise other kitchen staff and work as part of an effective team
- you will need to prove your right to work in UK, we are not able to sponsor applications
- to cook lunch for up to 31 residents, taking into account the varying diets, following the daily menu’s
- to order meat, vegetables and stores on a regular basis and to use food rotation
- cedars Castle Hill is a 31 bedded nursing home with a lively atmosphere where we support residents with a variety of nursing needs
- to prepare suppers where possible or needed
Requirements
- good communication and organisational skills
- previous experience of working with the relevant resident group
- team player
- flexible approach towards working routine
- ability to work on own initiative
- friendly, creative and confident
- genuine interest in working with the relevant resident group
- satisfactory DBS
