Requirements
- A desire to achieve highest standards possible
- level 3 Functional skills qualifications in English
- ability to motivate others, inspire and influence positively
- ability to think creatively
- experience of teaching Functional English from Entry Levels to Level 2
- experience of teaching English from Entry Levels to Level 2
- able to travel independently to different training locations in London
- able to work on own initiative
Responsibility
- to provide guidance and support to learners to enable their progression to further training/education/employment
- to complete all paperwork such as registers, enrolment forms etc in line with the organisation’s and funding requirements and deadlines
- to comply with institution's policies and regulations and any regulatory requirements that may apply
- to deliver and develop provision of functional skills teaching as directed by the Delivery Manager in line with awarding body requirements and quality standards
- to liaise effectively with colleagues, Delivery Manager and partner organisations to ensure that the course is delivered to the highest standard possible
- to encourage learners’ achievement of nationally recognised qualifications and to adhere to all regulations of the awarding bodies in the provision of such qualifications
