Responsibility
- to Support Project Manager in all aspects of the delivery of a project
- to ensure Project Manager is regularly updated on all projects. Highlighting any problems which may occur
- to liaise with client on all aspects of project
- to create estimates and quotations using bespoke software
- to ensure any variations to the initial estimate are recorded and authorised
- to prepare a written specification/proposal for the client consisting of price schedule and time schedule
- to formally/informally present specification/proposal to the client prior to commencing project
- to gain client approval and authorisation to commence works
Requirements
- must have the ability to communicate and converse at all levels of the construction team
- ability to work within set guidelines and systems
- ability to work within time and budget constraints and with minimal supervision
- ability to prioritise work effectively and work under pressure
- good time keeping and attendance
- ability to work co-operatively, flexibly and as a member of a team
- ability to handle demanding people in challenging situations
- ability to observe/listen and absorb new knowledge quickly
