Responsibility
- clinical chairside assistance to the Dentist/Hygienist ensuring that the correct equipment and materials are available
- maintain the cleanliness of your surgery and to ensure that all equipment and instruments are sterilised/disinfected
- we are currently looking for the right person to join our team at our busy, friendly and well established dental practice based in Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury
- ensure adequate stocks of materials, PPE and other items within your surgery
- you will need to be highly motivated and hard working with excellent communication skills and share our high values for patient care
- full training will be provided within the practice, and you will be enrolled onto an accredited training course to ultimately enable you to become a Qualified Dental Nurse, which will lead onto a professional registration with the GDC
- accurately complete patient clinical records during their appointment
- ensure the completion of all Clinical Logs
Requirements
- dental assisting: 1 year
- dental Nurse duties including assisting the dentist with all aspects of dental treatment, be able to provide excellent patient care and also carry out reception duties such as; booking appointments, assisting with patient queries, answering telephone calls and operating computer systems
