Requirements
- at least 5 years’ previous experience of working as a manager within contract catering
- working knowledge of HACCP and Health & Safety laws
- high attention to detail and passionate about delivering 5\* food and service delivery
- excellent communication skills and able to build a strong workplace culture
- organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and work quickly, ensuring deadlines are met
- A good team player and strong advocate for the business
- customer service: 5 years

Responsibility
- work with the caterers, to ensure catering contractual arrangements are followed, SLA’s are achieved and everything is appropriately documented and monitored
- to analyse trends in food and drink, identify new catering sales opportunities across day visitors and events, discuss and support implementation
- work with the caterers to agree appropriate food menus, prices and presentation
- ensure all insurance’s and appropriate paperwork is in place for all caterers
- to build a strong relationship between Leeds Castle and the contract caterers working on the estate to work as one team and embedding the Leeds Castle values
- ensure all catering marketing and signage is appropriate for Leeds Castle and follows brand guidelines
- to work alongside the contract caterers to ensure the highest standards of customer care at all times by responding quickly and flexibly to our visitors’ needs
- in conjunction with the Leeds Castle operations, maintenance and security teams, ensure our caterers are adhering to all necessary catering and legal requirements
