systems accountant
Responsibility
- you will be assisting with the delivery of a new finance system as a key role within the project team
- casanovas Recruitment Solutions have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a friendly, reliable and highly efficient person to join their client as Senior Accountant working within systems implementation
- as a Senior Accountant you will create capacity within the finance team by assisting with the delivery of month end management accounts and year-end
- support ad-hoc finance activities regarding business support & analysis & support, statutory compliance & reporting and any process change implementation
- provide general senior level support & oversee the running of accounting, accounts payable, financial reporting activities
- assist in the delivery of year-end financial statements preparation, including preparing working papers and liaising with external auditors
- lead the quarterly reforecasting and expected annual outturn, reporting the movement with supporting reasons and highlight possible solutions to bring budget back in line
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- to be eligible for the role, you must be a qualified accountant
- you should have broad transcription process experience in a finance department
- experience in delivering month end and accounts and year end financial statements
- evidence experience of using information to successfully solve problems
- you must have the ability to provide a sensitive, diplomatic and confidential service at all levels
- have excellent experience with accounting software
- accounting: 5 years
- you may occasionally be required to travel around eth county and will need to have a willingness to be flexible
