Responsibility

  • make sure, on arrival, that it is safe to make the delivery and respect the customer’s property
  • working with the loader, check that the load is correct against the customers’ orders before departure
  • obtain delivery confirmation from customers
  • act as a professional representative of Carpet & Flooring during journeys, and upon delivery of goods – maintaining C&F’s high standards of internal and external customer care
  • communicate traffic delays and other delivery concerns promptly to the Transport Supervisor
  • update a driving and delivery log in line with company policies and procedures
