- follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, flooring, trim, or hardware
- inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- paint surfaces as needed
Requirements
- proficient in carpentry techniques and methods
- knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- experience with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes
- familiarity with power tools such as drills, sanders, routers, and saws
- ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- excellent problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
