Responsibility

  • safety Officer
  • collaborate with department managers to address safety concerns and develop solutions
  • stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to workplace safety
  • conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a safe work environment
  • maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities

Requirements

  • NEBOSH preferred
  • proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role
  • knowledge of safety regulations and standards
  • experience of H&S in a Health & Social Care setting
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • safety plans: 2 years
