Responsibility
- creating Rotas using the electronic system
- answering all incoming telephone enquiries
- implementation of thorough recruitment and vetting procedures for all care assistants
- managing care assistants on the packages with supervisory responsibilities
- carry out audits and risk assessments
- completing reviews along with other administrative duties
- participating in the on-call rota as part of the Care Coordinator role
- covering shortfalls of shifts within your working hours
Requirements
- to either live locally to Barnsley, South Yorkshire or be willing to travel to the job location
- to have weekend availability
- to be willing to be on call
- to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle
- ideally, NVQ/SVQ 2 or 3 qualified
- ideally, two years of experience working as a care coordinator for a Domiciliary Care Agency
- knowledge of CQC Compliance is essential
- ideally, experienced in conducting care assessments, reviews, and motivating care staff
