- preparation of Sales Invoices in a timely fashion
- processing of Purchase Invoices
- perform daily bank reconciliations
- recording accounts payable and accounts receivable
- making payments to suppliers using online banking
- arranging for banking of cheques to be done
- dealing with payroll, expenses, pension contributions PAYE and VAT
- maintain a controlled petty cash system
- 5 years’ work experience in accountancy desirable
- ideally you will be AAT Qualified or similar, however the charity can consider those without qualifications with good experience
- excellent verbal and written skills with a confident telephone manner
- experience of Accounting systems, ideally Xero
- familiarity of accounts and preparing manual journals
- experience of running payroll services
- experience of multiple departments with cross charging
- strong organizational skills and excellent time management skills

- responsible for the day to day running of the centre and organising the staff, clients and activities during the day
- plan, organise and direct group activities to meet the needs of the group or individuals
- make sure all the necessary materials are available for the daily activities
- interact with other staff members to develop a variety of activities
- responsible for keeping risk assessments of the clients and safe handling processes up to date
- liaise with clients and carers regarding the day to day running of the centre
- do an agreed amount of staff supervisions and appraisals
- liaise with Assistant Day Opps manager on staffing and making sure the centre isadequately staffed at all times
- previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
- strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- proficiency in IT systems for recordkeeping and reporting purposes
