Requirements
A QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care
an excellent understanding of CQC assessment criteria for achieving Good and Outstanding scores
management experience in care service provision and experience in managing people
Responsibility
to recommend improvements to business processes, especially scheduling, to ensure that the optimum service is being delivered
to be responsible for quality assurance/governance through spot checks, internal audits etc
to provide leadership, management and support to the team, to ensure high levels of performance especially with regard to care of clients
to attain and maintain high levels of compliance relating to regulations, standards and policies whilst ensuring a minimum of a “Good” at CQC inspection
to assess performance against KPI's on a regular basis
to be responsible for the Health & Safety of staff and clients, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe working environment for all
to carry out carer duties when necessary
to identify and recruit high-quality carers and other members of staff, implement appropriate training and ensure a high retention of staff
