Requirements

- experience of managing the delivery of social care services as a registered manager within domiciliary setting
- enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service formally known as the Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure
- train the trainer qualifications. Knowledge of business management
- full drivers licence with no more than 6 points and Class 1 business insurance Desirable criteria
- experience of care services, risk assessment and person centered care and support
- knowledge of business management
- ability to plan and organise workloads effectively so customers receive the services they expect
Responsibility
- ensure there are sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff allocated appropriately to meet service needs at all times
- make sure that prior to each service commencing, a customer assessment and risk assessment with the customer, and/or their chosen representatives, has been completed including what the customer needs and would like to achieve from their care and support
- manage the effective recruitment, induction and training of the coordinator , supervisor , care workers and other support staff
