Requirements
- experience working within Recruitment - Essential
- safer Recruitment Certificate - Can be obtained and updated during the hold of the post
- mandatory training - Can be obtained and updated during the hold of the post
- experience managing a team - Not essential but desirable
- NVQ in Health and Social - not essential but desirable
- experience in the healthcare industry would be desirable
- experience of working with vulnerable adults / adults with learning difficulties/challenging behaviour / physical disabilities / mental health would be desirable
- understanding of equal opportunities
Responsibility
- to ensure that recruitment and selection procedures and practice meet operational needs, legislative and good practice requirements
- optimising the running of the Recruitment and Training Department
- building on current and future relationships with clients
- interviewing
- completion of DBS’
- completion of references for new employees and those leaving the service
- probation reviews
- ongoing compliance for existing employees
