we are a busy manufacturing company specialising in solution led computing platforms, from tablets to industrial computers to rack systems
we operate in a wide range of industries such as medical, transport and defence and are based in Segensworth, Fareham
you will need to be able to complete any documentation required to a high standard
we are looking for an experienced Stores Person, who takes pride in their work, has a good work ethic and excellent communication skills, to join the team in our busy Stores Department
you will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries are accurately booked in on the day of arrival, checking received goods against purchase orders to ensure the correct items have been received, as well as reporting any damaged items in accordance with our internal processes
as part of the Stores team, you’ll be dispatching items, ensuring goods are packed securely to reduce damage in transit, whilst adhering to special instructions from customers
in addition to goods in and goods out responsibilities, you will be picking kits and updating the system, accordingly, assisting the team with weekly, monthly, and yearly stock takes as required
Requirements
experience working within a computing environment
at least 2 years’ experience, in a warehouse environment
comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy items safety
an understanding of health and safety requirements and how to work safely
experience using an Enterprise Resourcing Planning System or Manufacturing Resource Planning System
willing to undertake fork-lift training
BPSS clearance will be undertaken by Captec
