Responsibility
- we are seeking a highly practical individual with experience of diesel engines and electrics to join our friendly, hard-working team
- our fleet is varied and ranges from 240 passenger carrying pleasure boats to multicats and small workboats and barges
- fault-finding, repair and maintenance of large marine diesel engines

- keeping the workshop tidy and organised
- servicing of vessels
- keeping records and parts ordering
- fabrication/ welding
- helping to preparing vessels for surveys and inspections
- diagnosing problems/ fault finding
- assisting in keeping up to date engineering records to approved MCA / ISM standards
- engine/ gearbox installation
- deck work
- based at our workshops at Temple pier, Central London, the successful candidate will be working as part of a busy engineering team, repairing and maintaining our fleet of boats
- hydraulic systems
- routine preventative maintenance
- basic carpentry when needed
Requirements
- strong all-round mechanical skills
- flexible attitude and the ability to handle a range of situations
- working knowledge of marine engines

- basic skills in welding, electrics, plumbing and general fabrication
