  • this position will include travel to various sites
  • an opportunity for an experienced, capable, and knowledgeable Construction Contracts Manager to join our well established and successful construction management and contracting operation

Requirements

  • A good understanding and technical knowledge of the construction industry
  • taking responsibility for the post-contract process to completion and handover
  • establishing and executing effective programmes
  • overseeing Site Managers and sub-contractors on-site
  • ensuring quality and consistency of workmanship from all trades, compliance with current Building Regulations and liaising with Building Control
  • negotiating with sub-contractors, placing orders, agreeing costs and executing to programme
  • working with the procurement department to manage supply chains and cost-effective purchasing on site
  • managing change through the construction process including documentation and communication with clients and clients’ agents
