- maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by regularly sanitising tools and equipment
- handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
- assist in lifting larger animals safely when necessary, demonstrating strong animal care skills
Requirements
- previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be discussed in interview
- strong knowledge of animal care practices and basic veterinary awareness is advantageous
- excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners
- physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods while grooming pets
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential
