Responsibility
- managing the written and editorial aspects of the bid and proposal development process
- communicating requirements, deadlines, and expectations to key stakeholders and the bid/ proposal team
- maintaining the bid library, bid tracker, author content, and editing text produced by other members of the team
- checking drafts for readability, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and formatting
- producing high-quality documents and ensuring completed bids/ proposals meet the bid specification
- maintaining the bid library, bid tracker, content
- conducting bid analysis following completion of submissions to drive improvements
- re-write or edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from technical, sales, marketing, finance, commercial, legal, and operations
Requirements
- able to co-ordinate colleagues, including technical employees at all levels, bid colleagues, marketing and communications, and external partners
- skilled in editing copy to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, and ability to edit copy to house standard and style
- skilled in setting priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
- A strong team player with the ability to share information, offer support and provide guidance to both colleagues and customers
