Responsibility
- set and operate a range of production machinery to manufacture and customise CamdenBoss components
- assemble a range of products to include electro-mechanical assemblies and fabrication
- contribute to meeting targets within the production and assembly department to include Quality, and efficiency
- contribute to meeting/exceeding KPI targets within the production and assembly department to include Quality, and efficiency
- contribute to the improvement of production efficiency
- contribute to the improvement of production efficiency by utilising best practice methods and lean manufacturing methodologies
- collaborate closely with peers, Senior Operators, Team Leaders, Quality, Manufacturing and Design Engineers
- liaise with colleagues in other departments to exchange information, clarify facts and resolve queries
Requirements
- excellent skills gained in an engineering environment
- previous experience of operating a wide range of production machinery
- previous experience of setting and operating a wide range of production machinery
- previous experience of working within a factory assembly environment
- previous experience of working within a fabrication assembly environment
- knowledge of engineering principles and best practice
- operating production machinery: 1 year
- factory assembly: 1 year
