hardware engineer
Working hours

Responsibility
- your responsibility will be to develop hardware components for state-of-the-art experimentation systems as well as assemble and oversee these systems
- there will be demanding technical requirements, including hardware component prototyping, cost reduction, and integration with electronic components
- it will be important to break projects down into stages with clear deliverables/dependencies and deliver project work to committed timelines
- you will be working closely and effectively with the Head of Engineering, CTO, CEO and software developers, developing, testing and verifying the state-of-the-art technology
Requirements
- experience in commercial hardware design and manufacturing
- design of modular hardware systems
- flexibility, curiosity, lateral thinking and ability to apply pragmatism
- be able to design a hardware device from scratch
- proven 3D CAD skills
- A high degree of autonomy and self-motivation
- experience with 3D printing
- good verbal and written communication skills
